He said he didn't go to the dinners during the Bush era because "my life--I couldn't get insurance for it." As in, he'd have been amongst many enemies then.
Edited to confirm: watched my recording and he didn't even really stammer or say "my wife." He just said "my life--I couldn't get insurance for it!"

She's now nearly 26 (not that that makes her old) and working for WNBC and the Weather Channel.
Prior to moving in with Keith, she had no TV reporting experience.
