2. Obama: A+; Reps C; Senate: C; Dems as a whole: D; Republicans: A+(they are doing what they do best) |
|
Just wait we will all vote for Obama's second term.
The guy is a genius and he's doing what needs to be done. No drama, let the adrenaline run it's course.
I'm sure it won't kill us, but it sure feels like it now.

Must be because it is the end of the term where I teach, and I'm fed up with excuses...
D C F D F
I see no differences, other than purely partisan rhetoric, between the Senate, Democrats and Republicans alike, and the Republicans collectively. I see no effective difference between the Democrats as a whole and the White House, and neither has been even slightly effective. The earlier post that compared the "progress" on health care reform to a football game was brutally accurate. We started on thier 30 with a first down. Now it's third and long from our own 10.
A few lonely bright spots in the House keep this from being F's across the board.

By refusing to even discuss Medicare for All, they have all (with the exception of a few members of Congress) have been more concerned with protecting the health insurance companies and their campaign "contributions" than they have with seeing to it that all Americans have access to care.

11. Any "A" at all pretty much erases any credibility for the voter. |

I struggle with my grades, because I really want to like Obama. On further reflection though, I doubt that he fully earned his D.

25. The report card so far: |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-22-09 05:33 PM by branders seine
Obama C House C Senate D Dems D Reps D
If Obama gets through this debacle with a "C" from a left-leaning audience like that here at DU, his Presidency perhaps will survive. The Dems as a whole, though, will lose ground if public, especially liberal, perception of their performance does not improve.
