That's a team on the job that I am proud of and have confidence in.

...and, looking at that, I'm reminded of the team they replaced.... and how much better off we are all now.

(even if some refuse to believe it)

1. today on the car radio
I heard something in reference to "the president" and I blanched - and then I remembered it wasn't bush (hey I saw him on that cowboys game and remember in Texas we put up with that bastard for 12 years) - and then I remembered, hey, it's Obama now. :)

2. Today on my home radio I heard Cokie Roberts on Obama
I did more than blanch- I gagged and yelled and punched the "off" button.

I saw President Obama on David Letterman tonight- my heart beat, and I was filled with pride and gratitude.

And this from a guy who has major issues with the scale and pace and focus of Obama's priorities. I'm realizing he's way beyond what I could ever do.

4. Dear G-d, what did the Cokester say this time?
And what fake backdrop would she have been standing in front of if she hadn't been on the RADIO?

Remember, this is the same "respected commentator" who announced, the day after the 1994 Congressional elections, that there HAD been a "swing to the left" by Bill Clinton after the election and that that's why the Dems lost Congress.

And the same one who said, the day after the U.S. bombed and starved Nicaraguans into electing a right-wing government in 1990, that "The Sandinistas had been forced to have elections"(which was a direct lie, as the Sandinistas had ALWAYS said they'd have elections and had always promised that they'd make an honorable departure from office if they lost-as they did when the defeat actually occurred).

Ah, Our Little Cokie...
