No insurance, let them die. WTF?
Some clown on CSpin called in to say that if you can't afford to buy health insurance, you should just be allowed to die.

He said that is nature's way of weeding out the weak and he's sick of paying his hard earned money for people who can't help themselves.

Did I mention that he didn't call in on the Democrats line?
As if there was any doubt which party he supports.

Some of these people are getting very rabid in their statements.
He was from Indiana so maybe it was Mike Pence.

4. I have a B.I.L. who says the same thing, but at least he says to wait
until they're getting old and sickly and then let them die. I just can't understand the thinking(??) of some people. He didn't say that when both of his parents had heart problems recently though.

3. My 22 year old will lose insurance at the end of the month because
she no longer qualifies under my corporate policy.

So this sick fucker thinks she is weak since she can't afford insurance on top of everything else!

She is in college, how the fuck is she supposed to pay for health insurance on top of school and other living expense?

She is working a full time job at minimum wage while going to school. The full time job does not offer benefits but they are flexible enough to allow her to go to classes. 40hrs a week plus college classes is weak?

These fuckers are just stupid cruel morons.

5. I lost my job last year and only have coverage because my wife is
still working. It's not as if we intentionally decided to have serious health problems, it just worked out that way. I think that we have a lot more to offer to the world than someone that just wants to let us die if she loses her job or coverage.

Sen. Casey says that one of the things that he wants to see is the coverage age raised to 26 for dependents since there is the whole college education time and expense involved and finding your first job so why should they be denied coverage?

That makes sense to me.

11. i remember being in that position when i was working my way through
school years ago. Someone at school told me to fill out welfare papers so I could get covered and I got them plus I could have gotten food stamps but I couldn't go through with it. Something deep down just told me it wasn't right. So I continued working several jobs through nursing school. I just didn't have health insurance and luckily that was okay. Back then you could work your way through school but not anymore!

9. Well I say to him this is nature's way of weeding out the assholes who refuse to help those in need
Thanks for playing, now please go stand in in the corner with the other assholes.

I'm sick of the animalistic idea that the strong eat the weak. That's good enough for the jungle, but humans should act humane.

12. Such great logic, but try to work that on a wingnut
"Of course I don't believe in evolution! Darwin was totally wrong! Humans are created special by God! We aren't animals!"

but then later, when it comes to behaving like a humane being. . . .

"Only the strong should survive. That's nature's way of separating the weak from the strong. We don't need government taking away my hard earned money to keep some deadbeat alive."

I wish it were possible to confront them with the paradoxes of their own thinking -- or whatever -- and watch their heads implode, but I don't have the time to waste on them.

Since I DO believe in evolution, I say we ignore them, let them starve and die and be done with it.

It's nature's way.

14. Do as I say, not as I do.
That has to be their secret password to get into their clubhouse.

I prefer the whole "Do unto others etc", but I don't think that they're capable of human emotions like that.

"I've got mine; you can drop dead." :puke: :grr:

15. It reminds me of the point/counterpoint scene from "Airplane"
When talking about the imperiled flight passengers:

"Shanna, they bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let 'em crash. "
