Legally Speaking ACORN Workers May Not Have Been Wrong
According to the author of the article that is linked to below what ACRON did was not that bad in legal terms. According to the author whether people know it are not prostitutes have to pay taxes just like any other American. In addition, according to the author, it is in the best interst of prostitutes to pay some form of taxes in that in some states the penalty for not paying taxes is worse then the penalty for being a prostitute. Finally, according to the author the clip in which the woman tells the prostitute and pimp to sign their tax forms as performing artist is legal and accurate, the IRS/legal term is 711510.

1. But in Maryland, recording a conversation without consent is illegal.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave...

2. That didn't stop the Repos from decrying the situation and the Dems from following the Repos lead.
I'm fed up.

The Dems can't think, act, or even chew gum without worrying what the Repos might think.

Why vote Dem? What's in it for regular people? Mandatory insurance to prop up the criminal slime ball insurance industry? A voice of reason? A little justice?

Apparently not.

Instead we get an unconstitutional bill of attainder against the left, and we get taxpayer subsidies and mandatory business for the criminal insurance industry from "our" Dems.

Again I ask, "Why vote Dem? What's in it for regular people?

Me, I'm back to voting Dem when the Dem deserves my support, and just not voting when the Dem acts like a Repo. I won't vote for Repos, whether they have an R or a D behind their name.

4. well those videos looked REALLY bad
still, ACORN should have demanded release of the unedited videos so they could know for sure how bad things were. They should have investigated their own employees' claims of innocence more thoroughly as opposed to throwing them under the bus.

preparation company, there would be similar results on film. However some workers did appear to go above and beyond, shall we say?
