Could their problem be hatred stemming from insane jealousy?

They can't spell, don't appreciate the arts (think of progressive vs "conservative" bands, acts, etc), have no sense of humor, no creative ideas whatsoever, were probably pummeled in school, and consider life on earth itself to be hell, hence can't wait for what comes next. They are also easily conned into giving money to shiny, sales pitch, infomercial "pastors".

forgive the snarky, broad generalizations...but are conservatives just so miserable and jealous and unfulfilled that they want nobody to be any happier than they are (so they want everyone to be as miserable as they are)?

2. I think you missed the mark on a whole host of shit. I do agree with the insane jealousy...

1. Can't spell - They don't give shit about spelling and think people who bring it up are annoying.
2. Don't appreciate the arts - They don't give a shit about the arts.
3. Have no sense of humor - Have you been on DU lately? Purist on both the left and the right suck @ that.
4. Pummeled in school - Prolly home schooled...and if they did go to a real school they were prolly the jocks\cheerleaders. All the popular kids @ my schools were conservative.
