Trump Group Says Gadhafi Not Staying On Property
Town Threatens Legal Action Against Tent
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBS) ― An attorney for a suburban New York town says it could take criminal action if work continues at Donald Trump's estate, where the Libyan government pitched a tent that could be used by Moammar Gadhafi.
Inspectors planned to visit the property in Bedford on Wednesday. Attorney Joel Sachs tells The Associated Press that if the work hasn't stopped, it could result in a "criminal summons" for violation of town code, or a civil proceeding to seek an injunction.
The Trump Organization said Gadhafi would not be coming to the property. It said part of the estate "was leased on a short-term basis to Middle Eastern partners, who may or may not have a relationship to Mr. Gadhafi."

The massive tent is equipped with four satellite dishes and Persian decor. It overlooks an adorned fountain on a massive estate of a multi-million dollar home.
"Why should he be able to roam free, wherever he wants to go? That's not fair," resident Dennis Adorno said.
Others were in agreement, saying Gadhafi should not be "hanging out" in the suburbs of New York City.
