As much as I complain sometimes, I've started noticing

some positives. Some of note: the pushback against the Baucus Bill and Bluedogs, Obama using the word torture at the UN, the DOJ will move forward on a torture investigation, the DOJ and FBI didn't stop Edmonds from testifying in the Schmidt v Krikorian case, some success by grass root movements in bending the curve back our way a little bit, etc. There are still problems such as the nation not coming clean so to speak about the recent past, the push for Afghanistan escalation, the lack of regulations still in the financial sector, and a few others. But maybe, just maybe, everybody's efforts may be having some effect.
