Ironic thing about invoking a WWII reference here..... the post war occupational governments in Germany and Japan actually set up the national health care systems in those countries, based on the program Truman was trying to implement here.

Even more ironic, fucking IRAQ has single payer health care now.

Maybe we DO need another civil war after all? Not only would we get rid of the Freepers, we'd also get real health care out of it (like any other country the US goes to war with)
