It`s as easy as blowing up frogs
Ever stare in utter disbelief when a Republican callously mocks an American citizen facing tough times? Ever wonder how these folks can sit, carressing their hymnal in the front pew every Sunday?

Remember George Bush`s knee-slapping good time over birthday cake with John McCain during Katrina? Remember Heckuva Job Brownie`s FEMA ice trucks idling way the hell up in Maine as New Orleanians with parched lips begged for something to drink? Remember Rush Limbaugh`s comedy routine as he made jokes about Michael J. Fox`s disease? Remember how they yukked it up over naked torture pyramids?
Do you think Republicans care about people in housing projects or bread lines? Do you think they lost sleep over the number of school children killed in Chicago this year? The number of 20-year olds killed in Iraq or Afghanistan?

I`m convinced these folks are proud they have no empathy. To their way of thinking, it isn`t their fault we refused to buy health insurance with the $175,000 our uncle gave us.

Who WOULD Jesus bomb? Gays? African Americans? Illegals? Muslims? Hollywood elites? Union members? Liberals? Tree huggers? How about hospice workers since they`re apparently part of some secret Death Panel? Maybe Jesus could bomb the drowning polar bears since they "cut and run" from what`s left of their icebergs. I mean, Republicans are fine with buying black hoods and White Phosphorus, but a Head Start Program? No way, Jose! They`ll guarantee Big Pharma that nobody will stand in their $$way$$, but emergency surgery for a sliced-up domestic violence victim? Forget it. She made her bed, now lie in it.

It`s cold. Cold like I`ve never seen or heard before. America is at a Y in the road and our next move is....you won`t believe it....more important than Tom Delay`s Cha-Cha lessons.

1. Many of them are sociopaths - no empathy, no conscience, and they ARE proud of it. nt

2. This was the final straw for me...

George W. Bush first lies us into war with Iraq, then yuks it up when he doesn't find the weapons of mass destruction that he and Cheney swore Saddam had and swore the knew where.

I was never so utterly disgusted in my life: almost 5,000 American troops dead and over a million Iraqi citizens--all for a lie--and this POS thinks it's funny...

How I despise these people. I hope Bush, Cheney, and the rest all rot in the Hell of their Creator's making...

i don't think they are necessarily sociopaths either. some people just enjoy being assholes and obstructionists to progress.

4. Yes, it's cold.
People with basic dignity find it hard to accept that anyone can be so brutal; we try not to think about it.

But it's true. Seems like a lot of those in high places decided long, long ago (early childhood) that what they want is more important than anything else, even people's lives.

I think we have the right person at the top now, but we have a long, long way to go, and he is going to need a lot of help.
