I’d like to ask the “good ol’ boys” of Alabama: Just what is “socialism”...
...and why should you get back $1.66 in federal spending for every dollar you pay in taxes?

NPR tried its damnedest to reframe the current anti-Obama hysteria as not an issue of race but “socialism.”

If we're not able to criticize his policy because he's black, we've lost our country," said self-described conservative Steve Fitts, who runs a pest control business.

Us sitting here having to defend having this different view and we're talking about race shows how effective that tactic is. Because we're sitting here now having to talk about race rather than the issue. And the issue is that we're going socialist."

NPR

Really? “Goin’ Socialist,” are we? Then why should you get back $1.66 for every dollar you pay the “goin’ socialist” federal government? Why should other states get back less?

Of course, NPR didn’t ask this question, but I’d liked to have heard their answers…

1. There should be a law that limits a state from receiving more than it pays in taxes in
that socialist charity.

Cut the red states off - completely.

2. If you asked those rubes that question...
all you would get is blank stares, followed by "he's a mooslin".

4. That's why the southern legislators love putting those military bases
and contractors in their states.

7. NPR seems to have a policy of never asking followup questions
You could answer a question with an utterly false response & there it is. Powell & Cheney used to do this
on NPR all the time.
