..no census workers count folks in heavily Republican districts.

Representative Bachmann doesn't want her constituents to talk to census workers, and I'm sure most census workers aren't interested in putting their lives in danger.

This is a win-win idea!

No "red" congressional districts should have to be forced to participate in the census. If they want to be undercounted and under-represented in congress (teehee), who are WE to argue with them?

Let give Michelle Bachmann what she wants! From now on, don't bother counting citizens who wish to avoid talking to census workers!

It's only a few electoral votes here and there anyway, right? Those red states won't miss 'em....

3. Love it.
While we're at it, we should start a petition to let these fools opt out of all government services for life since they hate socialism so much.

Ok, that last bit was sarcasm, but...

5. My less-drastic solution...
1). Send out mailers to households giving them the option to: be interviewed for the Census, participate by mail or decline to participate.

2). If they are willing to be interviewed, interview them; if they want to mail it in, send them a form; if they don't want to participate...fuck 'em.

7. And no federal tax dollars. The "population" simply doesn't exist!
Since no one can count them.

8. Reduce them down to one district:
"The Chair recognizes the Representative of 'Miscellaneous'".
