The terrorists are going to be attacking the census again...

Friday and Saturday.

Bachmann, Huckabee headline conservative How to Take Back America Conference
By Jo Mannies, Beacon Political Reporter

Posted 1:30 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 24: Three conservative favorites -- U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and "Joe the Plumber" -- will be among the headliners at the two-day How to Take Back America Conference that the conservative Eagle Forum group is holding here.

The conference will be held Friday and Saturday at the Hilton Frontenac Hotel in St. Louis County.

The Eagle Forum is a conservative public policy organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly, a St. Louis area native who now lives in Ladue.

A number of conservative activists are expected to participate, including radio talk show host Janet Folger Porter, president of Faith2Action; radio-network owner Dick Bott and Joseph Farah, owner of World Net Daily.

According the conference's latest announcement, Bachmann --who speaks Saturday -- is among six members of Congress slated to address the conference, including U.S. Rep. Todd Akin, R-Town and Country. Also scheduled: three-star General Jerry Boykin.

Schlafly calls the conference "a crash course in conservative grassroots activism, featuring nearly forty speakers presenting twenty-four “how-to” workshops."

The workshop titles include:

"•How to stop abortions: a new approach"
"•How to counter the homosexual extremist movement"
"•How to deal with global warming, cap and trade"
"•How to stop the entry of illegal aliens and drugs"
"•How to stop government attacks on parents’ rights"
"•How to deal with supremacist judges"
"•How to stop socialism in health care"
"•How to deal with vote fraud, the Census, and ACORN"
"•How to defend America vs. missile attack"

“President Obama and his radical left-wing policies are uniting conservatives all over the country and are motivating people who have never been politically active to pay attention and to get involved,” said Schlafly in a statement. “So, we decided to expand our annual conference this year to bring together experienced grassroots activists and those who might be newly engaged in politics through the Tea Party movement.”

“This conference is designed to encourage and educate conservative activists through knowledgeable speakers and through ahead-of-the-curve strategies," she added.

7. "How to counter the homosexual extremist movement"
WTF. Has anyone ever heard of such friggin stupidity?

On the other hand, maybe I should start such a group. The Pink Panthers? Lavender Liberation Front? Stop Beating Us Up.org?

Because you know, the news is simply filled with militant extremist homosexuals beating and killing straight people...

8. This domestic terrorism needs to stop.
There should be a law against these "workshops" that promote hate and encourages the killing of federal workers like what happened this week.

If somebody said they knew "How to deal with supremacist judges" I would take that as a threat.

11. "Supremacist judges?"
Those wacky people! I thought it was "activist judges." Would this nomenclature change happen to tie in with their recently calling Justice Sotomayor a "racist?" Hmmm.

14. While DUers sit on their hands waiting "for all the facts to come in"...
giving them "the benefit of the doubt", and stupid shit like that.

Awhile back I mentioned that we need to not always get outraged AFTER the fact.

Now I better understand why this is such a problem.

Duke, and Tawana Brawley.

There's a reason for that, naturally.

EDIT: And we praise jeebus for the Duke case. The Tawana one was getting old, and people were starting to call bullshit due to its over-citation.

21. Indeed. But on the bright side, a record of 2-and-48798325 doesn't dampen our spirits...
We're ALWAYS happy to get right back on that horse, and "wait for the facts to come in", "give the benefit of the doubt", and all the rest.

15. Instead of senseless terrorism, they want censusless terrorism.
After all, it would be a tragedy for their states to have accurate population counts -- much better to have undercounts when it comes time for redistricting.
