The other day, Rep. Steve King said his "best vote" was against providing emergency aid to Katrina victims.

Now, according to Kos:

Yesterday we learned that gay marriage makes you a communist.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) declared in a radio interview that same sex marriage is part of a socialist agenda to undermine "the foundations of individual rights and liberties."

Said King: "Not only is it a radical social idea, it is a purely socialist concept in the final analysis."

You see, allowing everyone to have the same marriage liberties is actually undermining liberty! Of course, that makes no freakin' sense, but he's conservative. He doesn't need to make sense.

All of the wedges are being compounded into the same sentence because there is nowhere else for them to go. They have no policy, no ideas, only fear. Everything else has been stripped from them.
