Mike Stark just did a great job on MSNBC w Norah O'Donnell and some RW hack
Hack tried to get hysterical about school children singing Obama song.

O'Donnell and Stark shut him down. She said, well what is in there that is so offensive? What is wrong with respecting our leaders?

Stark said that they really ARE trying to indoctrinate children in Texas by putting Rush Limbaugh in textbooks.

Hack got flustered.

O'Donnell said that when she was in school they sent jelly beans to Ronald Reagan and did all sorts of projects supportive of and affectionate to the President.

I'll look for the video later.

1. I saw that....
Go, Mike, go. Gee whiz, can the nuts get any nuttier? Any time anyone mentions the name "Obama," the righwing starts yelling, "Indoctrination, indoctrination." It's going to be a long eight years.

2. More Whine and Cheese...
The shitstains don't realize the more they try to attack the President, the stronger they really make him. Their petty that the dead-end 30% eats with delight turns off the 70% who win elections. The more unhinged they get the further from the mainstream they go and are now seen as petty and outright obnoxious.

My daughter acted in a play when she was in 2nd grade called "Presidents on Parade"...songs glorifying the likes of Raygun and Poppy Bush (:puke:)...but it also taught her who the Presidents are and how important the person and the job is.

Need one say that if this had been a song praising georgie boooosh, the wingnut would have wanted it played at every school.

These shitstains need a chill pill the size of a boulder.

11. When I was very young Truman was Prez. Yeah I know, an ancient
here. This is before TV was really big and we loved the fact that his daughter Margaret played the piano. Everyone started to take lessons. Truman was not a "lovable" type but we all knew by heart "the buck stops here" and many teachers used it back then...LOL.

8. Texas is currently reviewing new History curriculum.
I've heard they are removing Neil Armstrong, Colin Powell, Thurgood Marshall. Somehow this is the kind of thing that is trumpeted early to appease the crazies, and then somehow it doesn't materialize. Hoping this is that sort of thing.

Limbaugh in the textbooks? Now that's just nonsense - unless he's cast as a dangerous, lying drug addict and the Father Coughlin of his time.

10. That was pretty funny! Haha! Hack started whining about Stark
using vulgarity on daytime teevee. It was offensive to him said he. I was waiting for Stark to point out that Teabaggers chose the names for themselves. Remember them running around with teabags hanging from their hats?
