Both have been FANTASTIC justices, :woohoo: but with the majority we have in the senate for at least another year, perhaps it is time for both to step down and allow President Obama to find two 40-something LIBERAL (not moderate) justices?...

Justices Stevens & Ginsburg have given nearly 50 years of outstanding service on the bench...

1. I've been thinking the same thing.
Why can't a few of the right wingers on the bench be stricken with terminal illness?

4. Considering the damage these "justices" have done to the general populace
I'd be happy to see a few of them go in place of Justice Ginsburg and her peers.

3. Ginsberg very well might not make it to the end of the term.
I'd say there's a good chance Stevens will retire. And while it would be great to get in some younger liberals, it still won't change the vote of the court. The conservative ACTIVISTS will still reign.

5. Yes, younger replacements will preserve the numbers, but we need to lose some RW judges for change.

6. Yes, I think they'll both step down, and soon.
They need to give Obama a chance to replace them while Dems handily hold the senate.

Who knows what 2011 brings?
