U.S. Sen. Grassley: More than $22.7 million to Iowa from USDA
WASHINGTON- Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Rural Development has awarded loans and grants totaling $22,736,256 to Iowa through the Rural Energy for America Loan and Grant Program.

If he wasn't pulling in the bucks, he wouldn't get elected. It's all self-interest, and that trumps ideology for all GOOPers.

OTOH, I'm a big IOWA fan, since they're one of the few states to offer same-sex marriage rights. Go Iowa! Any time now, I expect that my wife and I will be heading down there to see her cousin and his partner get married. WooHoo!

4. Nah.. doesn't surprise me.. just the sheer hypocrisy and stupidity..
.. and Wolf Blitzer will be on CNN praising Sen Grassley... just when you think people couldn't bury their head in the sand any deeper.. they bring in a well drilling machine for the Republicans...

2. Here in Mississippi
a classic Red State, we get a helluva lot more federal bucks then we send to Washington, and yet the fake patriots rant and rave and foam at the mouth about "socialism." I also love the "keep your government out of my medicare."

All the conservative values have made Mississippi number one in teen pregnancy, teen dropout rate,obesity, and diabetes. You go conservatives!

Iowa is a big winner when it comes to agriculture subsidies.
