I have a radical idea about the G20 summit. |
|
Allow each of the groups protesting at the G20 summit to choose a delegate. Their delegates would get five minutes to speak their mind to the world leaders attending the G20.
Nobody gets teargassed unless they go over their 5-minute limit.
And if they promise to behave, give them all an hour to mingle with the world leaders over champagne and caviar.
If someone throws a brick through the big fridge where they keep all the Red Bull, then they all have to leave.

1. You miss the point.. no one is stepping up to the plate..... |
|
War in Afghanistan.... draconian bankruptcy laws rubber stamped by congress, foreclosures on helpless families, 35% credit cared rates.. etc, etc....
How can you blame people who speak truth to power? Why do you blame the "little guy" , and not even look at the perpetrators?

2. That's not the point I'm trying to make |
|
Point I'm trying to make is that the people rioting need to be allowed an opportunity to be heard.
They should be given an opportunity to SPEAK truth to power, instead of being forced try and be heard over the LRAD machines.
