Michael Moore. Courage. Communication. Connection.
He is on fire with Bill Maher.
His explanations are easy to understand, he does not back down (Bill is urging on some "discussion") - he just used the F word....
Let's hear it for Michael Moore being on our side. And watch for the u-tube clip PLEASE

3. He said it is opening next Friday nation wide. He also said that he gave it his all.
He said that he told his crew that they would make the movie that says it all with "Capitalism, a Love Story" and that afterwards if they never found a backer again it would be A-OK
He said he fully expects the movie goers to leave the theaters with the intention of making some waves and stirring the pot, when asked why we are not in the streets now.
I love Michael Moore with all my heart. Always have, since he first came on the scene with Roger and Me and that is a long long time ago....

14. Michael Moore should be treated as a national treasure.
I lost interest in Bill Maher's preening, arrogant little prick-shtick a while ago, but thanks to this thread, I'll be watching next time they repeat this show on HBO.

5. Excellent panel discussion with Elliot Spitzer and Paul Krugman
Very critical of the money being spent on war and the lack of investment in education, green energy, etc. An adult discussion on the the erosion of the middle class, the need to change taxation, the need to regulate the financial industry and the need to fix our broken health care system.

I hope the video makes it to You Tube for people to see.

6. They are communing, conveying information. No sense of partisanship, no sense

of any upstaging each other for political undercurrents. I hope Maher has permanently abandoned the format of left vs. right in staffing his panels.
He is now doing the funniest damn thing on Obama with the Conyay (sp?) West haircut. Funniest thing I have seen in a coons age.
(I live in the South}

edited for hurried spelling

7. And several great jokes aimed at Glenn Beck.
Loved Boehner and Palin sporting the Kanye haircut!

9. Yes - the show continues on a real high note. I hope we have gotten people to
turn it on, and thanks for teaching me how to spell Kanye's name.

12. And watch for the clip to NEW RULES ! Great show, and I'm glad we got to share it here.
Maher goes on a rant about Health Care and how much we need single payer, and he is not thrilled with the time frames involved these days to bring about change.
New Rules turning into a smart and thorough examination of our need to bring about the promised change.
