NPR - John Bolton -"Obama Naive At U.N." Before President Obama Reveals Iran's Secret Nuclear Plant
I wonder whether John Bolton feels the slightest bit foolish after President Obama disclosed Iran's secret nuclear plant after lining up nations willing to impose sanctions prior to talks with Iran next week:

"The most significant point of the speech was how the president put Israel on the chopping block in a variety of references, from calling Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegitimate to talking about ending 'the occupation that began in 1967.' That implies that he supports going back to 1967 borders," says Bolton. "Obama has a very tough road ahead. He is frequently taking the side of the Palestinians, who don't have a competent leader who can make hard decisions and compromises in the future."

Also noteworthy, Bolton says, was how Obama highlighted "just how much of American foreign policy that he wants to run through the U.N."

"Usually presidential speeches at the U.N. are 'state of the world' addresses. Obama's speech was filled with talk about U.N. bodies, U.N. treaties, and sending Secretary of State Clinton to a conference on the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, which would be an incredible waste of time for her. The president's speech showed a fascination with U.N.-centric issues. Obama talked about getting past 'balance of power' politics. He talked about the interests that unite us rather than divide us."

Bolton's conclusion: "It was all extremely naive. The president did everything he could to say: 'Can't we all just get along?'"

1. John Bolton gives aid and comfort to the enemy
President Obama is a WAR PRESIDENT. A WAR PRESIDENT.

We don't criticize him. Not now. Not when we have troops in the field.

4. The Neocons Have Been Arguing That President Obama Should Have Simply Bombed Iran
Or, at minimum, give Israel tacit approval to start bombing Iran's nuclear facilities, rather than waste time on diplomacy. Some folks insist that President Obama is trying to start a war. I disagree. I think his actions make clear that he is simply putting all his cards on the table before entering negotiations with Iran next week. In other words, President Obama is not bullshitting. He is going to be very open about Iran's secret nuclear facility, and try to get a peaceful solution to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East.

6. He's backed Iran into a corner and gotten support for doing so from Russia and China
Something that john bolton and his asswipe buddies were totally incompetent at.

Obama has completed a diplomatic master stroke. The world knows it. Iran knows it.

Everybody knows it and when it finally sinks into the thick skull of the liberal media maybe even john bolton will get a clue.

7. Agree - Fox News Will Try Their Best To Spin This As Luck or A Failure, But...
The truth is that President Obama has very deliberately tried to set things up so that the U.S. has leverage during the upcoming talks with Iran.

The next time they have a fundraising drive, I am going to mention this in my note explaining why I am not sending in money.

9. Obama has done more good for the US and the world in his short tenure
than Bolton has done in his entire life.

Bolton is threatened by this - he is an asshole.
