Portfolio - "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Reform"- Kyl Calls HC Reform a "Stunning Assault On Liberty"

Republican Senators John Kyl and Chuck Grassley continued their assault on health care reform this week:

###

A pair of senior GOP lawmakers are blasting a major piece of the health reform plan being debated in a Senate committee: a requirement that individuals buy insurance.

Arizona's Jon Kyl calls it a "stunning assault on liberty," while Charles Grassley of Iowa says he can't support the Democrats' plan because "individuals should maintain their freedom to choose health care coverage or not."

2. A republican talking about 'freedom' is like a pimp talking about 'love'

seriously. They wouldn't know freedom if it bit them on the ass. Rethugs are directly responsible for implementing some of the most un-freedom like creations, such as the DHS, TSA, the unPATRIOTic Act, and the Military Commissions Act.

And no one in the M$M ever calls them on it. Ever.

5. Free at last, free at last, Thank God, I'm free at last!
Finally free to go bankrupt without govment stikin their hands in it. You should be so lucky to not have health insurance. It makes
life so exciting, wondering how its all going to end.

I love the image of insurance companies freeing 45,000 Americans every year.
