Please also note: The recent problems at ACORN are not a 'conspiracy', no one at ACORN broke the law. It is a major Public Relations (PR) problem. The law breakers are the ones who took audio/video recordings without people's consent.

The major mistake ACORN had made was not informing the entire staff how to deal with questions pertaining to illegal activities. Have you stopped for a second and asked yourself, if this happened to HR Block, given enough opportunities, somebody would respond in the same manner? Well that is what happened at ACORN! You can bet at HR Block and every other public tax service is looking into how to deal with questions relating to illegal activities.

When dealing with the general public and a confidential issue such as taxes, your going have to deal with some uncomfortable questions and situations. There is no way around it, the job will have you going in several directions at once.

The whole nefarious plan was to push the public's buttons and screw the poor. Guess what, with your statement, "trafficking innocent children is perfectly ok", it worked. In one fell swoop, your buttons were pushed, you are pissed, and at the same time because of this knee jerk reaction the poor get screwed again.

You and everyone else who in some manner say, "What about the children?" and stop there without seeing the entire picture are going to be manipulated. Thus, since it worked so well this time, it will be use again. That is really to bad...
