Question on insurance mandates re: LGBTers |
|
Bluenorthwest got me thinking on this.
Does the fact that the federal government refuses to recognize LGBT families for tax purposes mean that a gay couple will in effect be treated as individuals when it comes to the various qualifications, credits, and subsidies in the current federal health insurance bill?
If so, how hosed will we be?

2. That totally sucks, AGAIN |
|
Mandates suck for everyone. But, worse when one insurance policy wont cover their partner by law. Some states address this

someone else's employer, fine, but if you're not, YOU, not your spouse, is mandated to get insurance.
