I was a bit puzzled by that one. But I checked the image properties, and it appears they're having a birthday.

5. if you want to know what one of their graphics is for, just click it and it takes you to a search

with the tags they assigned to the image, in this case as you've seen, their 11th birthday... I told my fam 11 years ago to buy tons of stock in google, no one listened to me - I've done that 3 times now - 1st with ebay in 98, and before that with another company. I have no money to buy such things, but I knew it'd take way off because of the sleek design, and I remember people laughing (for several years) because I said I searched with it and not yahoo.

7. I always hated Yahoo..

If you were on dialup, like I was for a long time, Yahoo was glacially slow with all the graphics and other crap.

Google on the other hand was pretty quick, even on dialup.

Before I found Google I used AltaVista..
