Anybody getting emails about "underreported income"
from the "IRS?" I'm getting about 10 a day for the past two weeks. Do they win by attrition?

1. Me too - irritating as hell. Like I would actually give my email address
to the IRS.

11. I got one at work on Friday before the 3-day Labor Day weekend
so I forwarded it to my personal email account to deal with at home over the weekend. But it never got forwarded and I fretted about it all damn weekend. Ruined it. When I returned to work on Tuesday, the email had disappeared. Very curious. But I noticed the exact same message was in my junk mail file addressed to a former employee whose emails are forwarded to me so I figured it was a scam.

I clicked on the link provided in my colleague's email and it didn't work. I was relieved that the message was bogus but pissed that it ruined my damn weekend. The word FRAUD in big caps is pretty scary. :scared:

12. I have had the same email address for 14+ years and the amount
of spam I receive daily is horrendous - over a 1,000 daily...I think it's because that address has floated around for so long - everyone must have it. I use to worry about crap I would get that would say I was being foreclosed on, the IRS, a package is waiting, etc. That made me weed through all that spam daily. I finally decided, if it's really important, they will send it in the mail. Now I just delete everything I don't recognize and ignore the rest.

That makes me so mad that a stupid spam would cause you to waste even one minute worrying about it. There has to be a way to shut down these people but I just don't know how.

Hope you never have to worry about another weird email again. :)

9. I saw the Wolverine movie last night...
First off, it's not that good.

But in the beginning, Logan joins a special military force and goes on a secret mission to Nigeria.

I said to myself, GOOD! Now they can get that guy who's been sending out all all the spam!

15. Oh good it's not just ME
I was thinking I was getting severely trolled by a troll. Yep, every day a handful of them, but on my email account they land in the Junk E-Mail bin in the VIRUS CAUGHT box, not just in the junk e-mail section. So opening them and forwarding them to another account might cause some unseen action to take place. Anyone who's done that may want to do a virus check.
