Ms. Off The Rails did reveal this:

The objective in 'taking down' ACORN is about - "defunding the left". Give them that, and they'll go after (and YES this was a set-up) another progressive group.

The BIGGEST problem conservatives have with ACORN? They help poor people get homes, keep their homes, and they help them to vote, among other things.

I'm only surprised that Democrats and others don't SEE what the objective of the conservatives and Republicans are in their rabid pursuit of ACORN and I'm VERY SURPRISED that Democrats ARE HELPING them do it.

Do you think they're going to stop there? They won't. I think Democrats on Capitol Hill need to stop believing the media spin and get some FACTS about this ACORN situation instead of jumping on a bandwagon and using snap judgements. It would help too, if they had some SPINE and weren't so afraid of being called "bad names" by the media and their friends the other side of the aisle - and even their constituents.

Congress/Senators: You know, sometimes it really isn't all about YOU and your political careers. There ARE bigger issues facing this country than that. Get over yourselves.

This is the SECOND such write-up I've seen about Bachmann's comment about ACORN being just the beginning of their objective: "DEFUNDING THE LEFT" - they hate anyone or anything that helps poor or working-class people . ESPECIALLY ACORN. They've been after them since well before the election.

SOMEBODY UP THERE (specifically the darned pantywaist Democrats) needs to go to Mal-Wart and buy some CLUES and a SPINE. I hear they're on sale this week 3/$1. Get some. TODAY!
