St Joe Wilson: 'I sat there respectfully, waited till the end of speech, departed in orderly manner'

Joe Wilson takes a shot at John Shimkus?

This weekend, Rep. Joe “You Lie!” Wilson (R-SC) spoke to supporters at a rally in Aiken, SC. “I do want to be heard, and I will not be muzzled,” he told them. Defending his public outburst, Wilson explained that he had a “town hall moment,” but he’s “a southern gentleman” at heart. He then argued that, while screaming “you lie” at the President is unacceptable, there are worse forms of behavior:

***But I was not so emotional that I departed the speech. I sat there respectfully I waited till the end of the speech; I departed in an orderly matter.

It appears Wilson is taking a subtle shot at his GOP colleague John Shimkus (R-IL). Shimkus stood up and walked out of Congress before Obama’s speech was over because he was “frustrated” and “fed up.”

believe it was the GOP that kept screaming that no one should show disrespect to the president when the country is at 'war'.
