LBJ: "In a land of healing miracles, neighbors must not suffer and die unattended."
From his inauguration January 20th, 1965.

We ought to remind Democrats of what it means to BE a Democrat on the health care issue.

2. what if we always used the word "neighbors" when talking about policy?
What if the health care debate was only talked about in terms of neighbors? What a difference that would mean!

Thanks for the idea

From LBJ's innaugural address:

"In a land of healing miracles, neighbors must not suffer and die unattended."

he understood that politics was about neighbors

"Government is another name for what we choose to do together"
-Barney Frank

Just neighbors, working together.

. . . Just a thought
