Michelle Obama to women: Do what makes you happy |
|
and of course the freepers CAN argue with that. They have officially become the party of WTF??
To: Responsibility2nd Changing diapers didn’t make me happy! Being thrown up on didn’t make me happy! No sleep didn’t make me happy. I wish these people would just grow up! they live in some kind of fantasy world! Sometime we do things because it is our responsability.

To: Responsibility2nd Do what makes you happy That's the stupidest advice I ever heard. Why in the world would someone want to do that? I prefer my life to be hell on earth. Who is she to tell people what to do. Maybe they don't want to be happy.

** Honestly, this one has me at a lose for words**
To: Responsibility2nd a lesson she says she learned after realizing her two children, her husband and her physical health feed off of her good moods. She will become a prune emotionally. Letting people suck love out of you dries you up inside and makes you bitter. A good Christian woman learns to teach their children to get their Love from God and that the Husband is to do the same. She is to give respect to him, and he is to give love to her. Where is he supposed to get it? The Answer is FROM ABOVE. Michele needs to learn this lesson or she will become a prune.

To: marstegreg Amen to that. How about doing something because it’s the right thing to do. What makes you feel good may not in the long run make you happy. This country is in a mess because we have way too may people doing what makes them feel good.

Stay in school, respect your parents, help others, and be happy. freepers have indeed found a way to argue with that. Do they not realize how utterly ridiculous they are?????

1. What a bunch of hand-wringing, dour prigs! |

Women have so many choices in life. We can work. Stay at home and raise our children. We can do both.
I often find myself struggling with all of these choices. All of the moms in my mom's groups feel the same way and we often discuss the choices we have as we carve out our lives.
My kids are 8 and 9 right now, and I've stayed home with them for nine years. I'm contemplating returning to the working world--and possibly resurrecting my previous career. When I heard Michelle's words, "Do what makes you happy" it was refreshing and spot on.
It's too bad that there are bored, immature simpletons--who sit around waiting for something to complain about. To froth at the mouth at such a harmless statement--says more about their negativity and bile-ridden personalities--than it does about Michelle Obama.
I feel sorry for these joyless people.

" We can work. Stay at home and raise our children. We can do both."
Yeah, and make yourself crazy trying to do both. And how many men get the same choice? Not nearly as many, which is hardly fair.
We need to do a better job of enabling men to have options, and also not expect that if a woman is going to have children, she bear the brunt of raising them--whether or not she has another job--which is still all too common today.
Stress doesn't make for happiness.

Next thing you know being happy will be OUTLAWED, and condemned as being EVIL.
And we know for a fact now - rightwingers are not happy people. But the funny thing is that they CLING to their unhappiness as justification for what is right. Those that posted stated pretty much that.
Whatever you do - don't laugh. That might be construed as being happy - and that is just not right!!! (sarcasm btw)
I tried to post something over there - but strangely enough - my privilages were revoked - after only one little post...hehe

6. Perhaps the world leader who asked the President why they put a Hitler moustache on him for wanting |
|
to give everyone healthcare should visit a Freeper thread.
Wanting to give everyone healthcare? CRAZY! Saying women should do what makes them happy? INSANITY!
What freaks they are. :freak:
