8. I find myself thinking that it would be very hard to be a doctor at that
hospital and adhere to "first do no harm" at that hospital.

14. You and I got opinions, and they are contrary to some folks
that's why.

The system has created cliques.

Unintended consequences and all that

22. Eh, I think the cliques were already here..
And pretty much anyone who has strong opinions is going to hack off other people who have strong opinions of the opposite polarity.

Unrec has indeed set the cliques loose on each other even more than they already were though.

WICHITA — A Sedgwick County sheriff's deputy has died after being shot and wounded earlier today, and the suspect in the case was shot and critically wounded as he tried to avoid capture early this evening, authorities said.

The deputy was shot twice - in the torso and in the leg or foot - at about noon today at 3636 S. Rock Road, where he had responded to the report of a larceny, Sedgwick County Sheriff Robert Hinshaw said.

The call may have been "a set-up" to lure a law enforcement officer to the house, Hinshaw said.

The deputy is the first local law enforcement officer to die in the line of duty in nine years, and the first sheriff's deputy to be killed since 1997.
