Opposition to Chicago's Olympic bid hoping to travel to Copenhagen too
No Games Chicago's Tom Tresser is begging Chicago residents to turn out Tuesday at City Hall for what he is hoping will be a mass demonstration against hosting the 2016 Games. Tresser is hoping to get the attention of the International Olympic Committee in advance of Friday's vote.

Recent polls show as many as 84% of Chicagoans are against having to finance any part of The Olympics.

Some of Chicago's under-developed communities are left out of the plans, leaving residents of these areas feeling less than positive about the Games. Even residents of lower-income neighborhoods included in the 2016 plans are opposed, stating events won't help the communities. Some even call the plans racists.

Tresser is asking for help so that he can travel to Copenhagen and air the grievances of the group.

1. I wouldn't want them here.
All these "movers and shakers" want to bring the Olympics to Tampa. Why? Because they are in the pocket of the people who will make money off it. It's that simple. These are the same jackasses who whined and whined that we needed a Super Bowl to show "everyone that we are a world class city" , whatever the fick that is.

Super Bowl in Tampa was a disaster.

2. RNC in St. Paul was no picnic either
for the ones whose routes to work took them around downtown. And... an access to a homeless shelter was blocked, too.
