What's up with Menendez?

He's arguing for a public option but he's leaving before the vote? Huh?

3. I don't know. Bill Nelson was arguing for a public option too.

5. I noticed. He was defending Rockefeller's plan. Grassley was pissing him off.

8. Enough of Bill Nelson's constituents have been calling his offices
Telling him that if he does not vote for a public option, we WILL campaign with whoever runs against him in the Democratic primary, it could have him frightened. Since much of his area includes far right wing nut territory, Nelson knows he has to have every Democratic voter to get him back into office. He cannot afford the divisiveness of a serious primary fight.
