HELP! Stats On Canadian Health Care Needed

In order to make a few right wing heads explode in a local forum I hang out in, I am in need of some Canadian health stats. If anyone can be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it! There is so much to sift through online I do not know where to start. The main thing is the wait times.

4. This is one interesting comparison.

There was a LTTE in the local paper last week that I wanted to post. However, it has vanished from their on-line paper so I'll have to find it and scan it in.

Among other things that he mentioned were these "??facts??";

Doctors in Canada only make $25,000 so of course they don't have any good doctors.

The wait times are so long that they mail out apologies to patients in case they die before getting to see the doctor.

And of course, this person lived in Canada for three years so he knows what he's talking about.
