I disagree with Kennedy's having done it to Cuba, although I cannot say I actually recall what I felt *at that time* other than scared shitless of thermonuclear war.

I disagreed with it in Paris when we spoke to the Vietnamese.

I disagreed with it in Libya and North Korea a few times and Grenada and Panama and Lebanon and Syria and Egypt and Iraq and Iran and Afghanistan and every other place we go sticking our fucking noses. I disagreed with Clinton and Bush on the No Fly Zone bullshit and I disagreed vehemently with all of Bush's middle east bullshit.

And I disagree now with Obama's stances on Iraq, Afghanistan and now Iran.

This is NOT about party. This is SURELY not about personality. It is about sticking our international finger in some other international eye. It is about bellicosity.

There is never an excuse for it.

Except there always is. And there are always people who become apologists for it.
