How do you write a book for people who don't READ?
It's a true sign of Sarah Palin's ego and overblown regard for her position in American politics that she would "have written" a book for a base that doesn't or won't READ. Heck, she doesn't even read. Anybody have any idea on how to track bulk sales of this book? It's the only way "Going Rogue" can get anywhere on a best seller list.

4. Palin's rabid supporters will buy these books in bulk to make
it look like she has a solid following.

If it is written how she speaks then we will be reading about citizens in the ER screaming about the bloody noses and headaches caused by attempting to read the book.

I can't imagine that her book will be any more coherant than becksticks book.

10. yeah, its already admitted she has a ghostwriter.
Ironically, the ghostwriter is complaining that there's nothing about Sarah Palin remotely interesting enough to put into a book. Sees her as just a dumb hick who lucked into the limelight.

The Heritage Foundation or one of the other RW think tanks funded by rich, rich ideologues like Richard Mellon Scaife will buy up enough copies to put it on the best sellers lists, then they will offer free copies to people who go to their websites. This is how nuts like Ann Coulter get on the best seller lists. Nothing will get read except by people like you and me who study the enemy.

20. Rachel is already on it.
She has identified the book publisher as Harper Collins, which is owned by Ruppert Murdoch, who owns Fox News. http://www.harpercollins.com/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HarperCollins

It looks like he's going to start dragging a once reputable publisher down with his tabloid right wing screeds.

A good place to start in identifying all the foundations and think tanks funded by Richard Mellon Sciafe is is Wikipedia. Mellon Sciafe is notorious for his witch hunt of Bill Clinton. He was the focal point of the "great right wing conspiracy" that Hillary Clinton spoke of.

Once you start there, it leads to the whole right wing cesspool that are ruining our country. Sarah Palin is only the latest chapter in this.

Borders has the latest Glenn Beck book marked 30% off. I held one up today and told the clerk this guy is way more than 30% off, she didn't think it was funny.

15. I have bought books that I haven't read
I bet lots of people buy books that they don't read. And they like giving them away to other people, too, and telling *them* to read it. I bet a lot of her book sales will be like that.

18. Oh, hell, nobody expects those books to be read
by anyone but a few curious, literate lefties.

Most of them will be bulk bought by the same people who have bought up Coulter's crap over the years. A few will be bought in bookstores, mostly as gag gifts.

By the way, isn't "going rogue" supposed to be a bad thing?

She really is a stupid woman.

they'll hear what people on the teevee have to say about it.

They'll repeat that to their friends, as if it were their own thoughts, and recommend they read the book.

Lather, rinse, repeat. A right-wing bestseller is born.
