In case you haven't noticed, senators, as you rail against government-run health care for the people, YOU have it (on our backs) and are refusing to give US the same.

There are two problems with this bill. First, it will require people whose income is, in fact, insufficient to cover the premiums to pay for private insurance or be fined. Second, it has no realistic means for controlling the increase in costs. This is an insurance company bail-out.

2. as the employer, the gov pays the heftier portion of the premium not covered by the employee

So if, as a fed employee, you're paying 35% of your premium, the US gov is paying 65%.
