Weird message on my Blackberry
"Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network".

2. I got that message the other day.
I have a new Blackberry though; so I thought it was normal although I didn't actually go through the steps of registering it.

Not 100% sure.

5. do you have a Curve and T-mobile?
You can piggyback on wireless networks for better coverage.

You should have a UMA icon in the upper right corner.

6. When cell phones move to a new region of the network, they "register,"
so the network knows you're there. For example if someone tries to call you, the network needs to know where to find you so they can send the call to your phone.

However, I don't know if that's what your message is referring to.

7. I found a forum post about it.
When you get a registration message, it generally indicates that your BlackBerry left your coverage area, and then came back in. When you were out of coverage, you noticed that you weren't getting any e-mails.
