Your post is the reason why: No pressure valve. No escape hatch.
Under the insurance industry's favored plans, there will be no way to quell the anger over bad service, quality, or extortionate policies. That would lead to a MASSIVE revolt against the insurance business in general -- car, home, life, and all other insurances, too.
Perhaps the industry will, in fact, blunder us into it. But there is a lot of money at stake. That's why I am almost 100% certain that there will be a Public Option.
And that's almost 100% certain.
