So we should we start burning "health insurance" policies in public, like draft cards |
|
...were burnt, as public protest, in the 60's?
Thinking ahead in case "reform" means: "Forcing your corporate support, or go to jail!"

1. Not a bad idea. Not a bad idea at all. |
|
You should try to get this idea spread as wide as you can.

7. Unbelievable isn't it? |
|
We went from the possibility of national health care to being fined for not being able to afford insurance with the possibility of being jailed. Thats change I guess. You can't lock me up! Yes we can.

13. You don't have to burn the real card, just a photocopy of your |
|
card. It would be good street theater as others have said. I would like to see a lot of protests in front of insurance company home offices too.

14. Have we not called our congresscritters enough? E-mailed? Visited? |
|
How much more can we do without storming the bastille? Our 11:00 news just showed an advertisement of sorts for the "million man march" of medical personnel coming up, and showed people carrying signs saying "Obama's a Nazi" and "We don't want government in our health care". It's enough to make you want to pull your hair out. Those freaks in the minority are being hired by the insurance companies to put the rubber on the road.
And the majority of us JUST SIT HERE. We're about to lose our chance to have real health care.
The insurance companies are getting a bush-like "mandate".

15. Burn their rejection notices. |
|
When they refuse to pay for something, or refuse to sign someone up, burn those letters. Also, letters about rate hikes and increases in copays or deductibles.
