One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

1. Health Care
2. Taxation, IRS Oversight, and Long-Term Growth
3. Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure
4. Social Security, Pensions, and Family Policy
5. International Trade, Customs, and Global Competitiveness

Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed number 1 is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!

3. Is the point that health care shouldn't be the pervue of the finance committee?

6. that's one thing that has been bothering me too... what Federal
agency does manage or regulate health access and quality of care of it's citizens NOT related to low-income/Medicare qualifying old/poor individuals? I couldn't figure out or find one....

It seems to be prioritized as a financial/economic issue - which is massively screwed up because - it is.

So they shot down the public option because they're - whatever.

What about a proposal for a Public Option for those who are denied care/services or inaccessibility due to expense or any coverage from their private or employer-connected insurance.... what about a vote for an entity that takes care of those who are refused, denied or turned away from the "coverage" they pay premiums for (assumably for - "health coverage")....

We have to get mad enough, I guess, to acknowledge the fact that our health, illness, suffering, full financial-material loss related to disease/health care costs, even having our lives cut short because the premiums we pay for insurance against catastrophic medical/financial loss but find out we're paying for exactly zero help, coverage or insurance against any of these... has nothing to due with our rights as citizens for "life, liberty, etc." (which, I'm sure many will disagree, but seems to proffer the sense that life and liberty are somewhat contingent on health, essentially) but is purely valued by a dollar amount. Period.

These nitwits need to be affected themselves. I don't know how, but apparently money is the key. I don't know how to show them, but they need to feel this.
Somehow.
