What I want to believe....
That the "public option" vote yesterday is all part of a larger strategy by the Democratic Party. That the Senate will get 60 votes for some "piece of crap" bill and it will have to be reconciled with the votes in the House. The House will vote overwhelmingly for the "public option" and will have to be reconciled with the "piece of crap" out of the Senate. In the final bill, it will go to the floor of the Senate for a full vote. It will win with 53 or 54 Senators voting for it. It will have the public option in it. All that must be demanded of those Democrats voting against it is for them not to filibuster with the Republicans. That is unacceptable. This is the scenario that I am hoping for?
