1. So we are...inconsistent?

2. Actually my take is that while there are minor differences

the net result is that the top of the greatest list is pretty close to the top ten recommends. This is just one data point, but it tends to falsify the argument that somehow gangs of evil trolls were manipulating the greatest page.
