Ok I know think is the wrong word, those racist tools don't think. I'm just trying to get in the minds of some of these guys. Do you think some of these idiots actually think that the public option would be free as in yippee I drank the Kool-Aid everything's coming up communist free? Cause there isn't a public option on earth that doesn't deduct from your paycheck like any other form of insurance. It just happens to be affordable to all (Shhhhh). Yes yes I know I shouldn't be trying to get into the minds of racist tools, it will only hurt my already damaged brain :)

2. If they thought is was free, they would be all over it
Considering most of the teabaggers have been older people who stereotypically jump all over free things, one would conclude they would jump all over free health care too.

But then they have all been brainwashed by Beck and Limbaugh to believe that anything President Obama proposes is going to destroy the world.

Beckerheads and Dittoheads.

5. Would it even cost them anything?
They are so against paying for anything that anyone else might benefit from. I suppose they believe their taxes will pay for it. They only want their taxes to pay for bombs!

6. Well the little I know about the US bill that looks like may pass sounds messed up. But....

under the Canadian system it would naturally come out of their pay check. Just about every company pays this premium for the employee. From wikipedia:

"
Currently in Ontario, people who earn salaries above $20,000 must pay an annual health care premium ranging from $300–$900. Funding for medicare in Ontario also comes in part from a dedicated Employer Health Tax (EHT) that ranges from 0.98%-1.95% of employer payroll. Eligible employers are exempted from EHT on the first $400,000 of payroll. British Columbia and Quebec charge similar premiums. Alberta charged $44 a month or $88 per family until it abolished premiums in 2009.
"

If you are under the 20k cap you don't need to pay anything and there is other help and assistance for those on low incomes. But remeber this all goes into a collective pool and the government is the sole insurer. It's not perfect but well love it. The US plan you guys are going to pass "without the public potion" will force people to buy private insurance, and there will be help if you can't afford it. This is what I understand. Wow Yipee for the health insurance companies that's just one HUGE windfall. Percentage of problem solved? 10%???

7. Hell most of us got acused of that
after the President gave his speech to the joint session of Congress, and we were upset about him advocating for a personal mandate. We got accused of being freeloaders wanting others to pay for our sorry asses...yes right here on DU.
