Poll question: Are Republicans from another planet?
Is that why they are batshit crazy Cheney, his fucking kids and wife, Joe Schmo, Michelle Bachmann, Lush Limpballs, the whole lot of them, are they from Mars or are they coming from the fourth gate of hell?

1. I have it on good authority that the Mother Ship dumped Ann Coulter here
and they aren't planning on returning to pick her up. Apparently she's too wacko for the cosmos. I guess they figure since we already had Glen Beck and Lush Limpballs, what's one more.

I just want to know how Ann and Glen spawned Michelle Bachmann, she's too old to be their child, but she certainly must be related. And Tom Coburn fits in there somewhere, although I'm not sure how.

3. "how Ann and Glen spawned Michelle Bachmann"
Asexual Reproduction of animals...

In the animal kingdom there are very few examples of asexual reproduction. The fact that animals have complex bodies makes it difficult for them to break into two or grow a bud. There are some examples amongst the simple animals. Read More...

14. Yes. Actually I think the depiction of Rs as aliens lets them off the hook
and lets us feel a bit better about humanity.

The film starts in what is basically a tent city of unemployed, able-bodied workers and their families.
It is difficult to find an answer -- how can society turn a blind eye to this?

All the answers I can come up with are sad and depressing. The explanation that the cold-hearted, oppressive corporations in power are run by aliens is actually quite generous to the Republicans, relatively speaking.

10. Naaa, they just got their cues from Nick Griffin.
Seeing how successful he's been in the UK, they think that is the best way to revitalize the GOP.

11. No, they're all too human
and humans have the capacity to do all sorts of fucked-up things. Those of us who comprise decent society have attempted to put distance between ourselves and those who commit atrocities, but at the end of the day, they're still human. Fucked-up human for sure, but human nonetheless. No amount of rhetorical removal from the human family will change that fact.

My first experience with this concept occurred when I was a prepubescent lad who took a precocious interest in the news. When the story of Richard Speck (mass murderer) broke, I talked about it with my mother. I said that such a person couldn't possibly be human; what she told me has stayed with me ever since. She said he most definitely was human, and that's what makes the story all the more horrifying. There's no Devil we can put the blame on, nor do these bad actors have horns growing from their heads that we can use as identification. They look just like anyone else, plus they have the ability to act just like us when it suits their needs.

There's not a whole lot separating us from the assclowns mentioned in the OP, aside from some subtle differences in our brains that may not even be detectable at autopsy, and there's no physical indicator for the desire to be a fucking asshole. Whatever the cause, I'm happy not to be afflicted with whatever pathological curse that has taken hold inside their heads.
