Chickenhawk freeper bullshit from their "Cheney: 'Do what it takes to win a war'" circle-jerk thread.

It’s time to bring back Napalm and flame throwers. Those items work great in hilly/rocky environments. You can napalm the side of a mountain and that stuff will get into almost all the nooks and crannies and burn them out.

Cheney does hate half measures, which is why I think he was frustrated when GWB went soft on him. I think Cheney would have liked to have ended the Afghan war by dropping a few tactical nukes into the valleys and on the mountains where the terrorists hide out. Caves vs. nukes. No contest.

I hope this works against democrats but Cheney is hardly one to talk. He left this mess behind and tarred all republicans as losers. Why didnt he put in the resources a year ago??

I think GWB went soft. Now Cheney is doing his duty — making sure everyone is aware of the treachery of the Kenyan usurper so that the public accepts any “strong action” that might be necessary to preserve the Constitution. Cheney’s oath as not expired. And lots of people have taken the same oath — many of them have access to firepower.

I hope it works but Cheney's problem is he is properly seen as leaving this mess behind for Obama, and as rats say, for going into Iraq instead.

He was on better ground on interrogations

Dick Cheney is a patriot who tells it like it is. Obama’s lackadaisical attitude towards sending in the extra troops is clearly politics and I applaud the ex-vice president for putting the screws on Obama. Great Job Veep!!!!

you can't spell 'chicanery' without 'Cheney!' (actually, you can, but it's close enuf!)

To the OP: I bet not one in 500 freepers has ever served a day in the military, but they're all 'armchair generals.'

9. I guess he's right in the stupid sense.
If our problem in Afghanistan was lack of ability to inflict death. Does anyone besides the stupid think lack of means in weaponry is our problem in Afghanistan. Just plain ugh.

it's a joke. I had a friend that used get into these BOMB NOW, KILL THEM ALL rants. Just trying to work the strategy through to a logical conclusion would frustrate the hell out of him.

13. It's not just the Freeperati
They have some kissing cousins, ideologically speaking, right here at DU.

Once you give up on the idea that Afghanistan is a problem requiring a military solution, though, a whole panoply of ideas start crowding through the door.
