and it is like watching GOP TV. fuck Fox.
How do these small bunch of scumbags manage to hijack the media? It was one thing when they were in charge, now that they are in a minority of a minorty, How the hell do they command so much air time.
Its beyond belief.

15. I think that is why Ted Turner is saying publicly |
|
he wants CNN back. Too late Ted you sold it to the wrong bunch.
And did you catch the female commentator trying to inject Reagan into the phone call where they woman was admiring, JFK, Clinton and FDR. Then the woman jumped in and said no no not Reagan and his reaganonics. And the commentator cut her off real soon.

2. Ever since November the MSM's goal has been to keep the GOP in the game. |
|
We had them on their knees and all but disbanded. The MSM knows they need controversy in order to remain topical. So they knew it was incumbent on them to bring the GOP back to life. And that is what they have been concentrating on ever since November.

4. Remember, it's all about entertainment. |
|
The more seamless they can make news, ads, fearmongering and lowbrow shows, the better TV works as a source of addiction and slavery. Pure Free Market.

5. I noticed it when Obama won. As far as MSM is concerned, EVERY issue has to revolve around the GOP |
|
How will this affect the GOP? How will the GOP respond? What are the chances Obama/the Dems can pull off (whatever) in the face of such powerful GOP opposition? GOP pressure is mounting--can Dems withstand it? Will they crumble? Obama is down a point! Mercy--can the end be far behind?
It just goes on and on and on.
When the blivet was president, they were not talking about the Dems like this, so it really is not about who's in power -- it really is about the Republican Party and its point of view.

7. The radical wing of the GOP managed to hijack |
|
the levers of power, and the corporate media and corporate oligarchy were overjoyed.
This is sheer propaganda, and it is, IMHO, an attempt to get the American people to accept an extreme right-wing agenda.
As that agenda is going to be very hard on the populace, there's more push-back than expected. They're still working on it.

9. How do the Brits keep their media objective and maintaining |
|
journalistic standards? What laws have they on the books that we don't have that even keeps the likes of Murdoch's tabloids in line? Whatever it is, we need to do the same. I get an hour of BBCA news here every day and the difference between them and our broadcast and cable news is astounding. I get stories there you never see here and even though they are conservative in tone, they don't ignore important news and they don't embellish or treat news stories with bias. They do in depth reports on the ground about the two wars going on, that are hardly even mentioned in our news. We need to reform all of them and Fox News needs to lose their license IMHO.

10. cnn has always been about ratings and money |
|
I never watch it anymore. Its chock full of journalism students already pumped full of botox whose brains are so few you can hear them rattling around like marbles in an empty warehouse every time they shake their hair. Their mouths open and they all sound like they have just had nasal surgery, What comes out is the equivalent of a fart in a windstorm. I will not watch it. I have a limited amount of time on this planet, and I will not waste it listening to pontificating faux adolescent teenagers named Buffy and Todd waving their manicured nails whilst whining about oil prices and war , with talking points issued to them by their multinational corporate owners. I would rather watch flies fuck than watch cnn.

No Democrats. Not even a Blue Dog. No balance whatsoever!! :puke::puke:
I don't want the cable shows anymore. I can barely stomach Rachel, Keith and Ed. They're starting to whine too much for me.

14. Because CNN, just like the rest of corporate media supports corporate supreme-ism. |
|
The Republican Party is the most corporate supremacist friendly and as such will garner an inordinate amount of air time.

19. CNN's Anderson Cooper will have Liz Cheney on as a guest !! |
|
I know what she is going to say before she even appears on screen. Seriously CNN , what's the point ? I have never seen her in a conversation, all she is capable of is spewing out talking points. How many times has she BS's on TV and yet she still gets invites back. I think i am about to give up on CNN, they are getting on my last nerve.
