Brian Baird Needs a Primary Challenger -- NOW. |
I really started to dislike this guy back in 2007 when he suddenly announced his support for the Iraq War. I always viewed it as nothing more than a publicity stunt, whereby he enjoyed being a novelty (i.e., a Democrat in support of the effort not named "Lieberman").
His vote against health care reform, however, is indefensible. Isn't there anyone out there contemplating a primary run?

2. He seems like he's leaving that open as an option for final passage. |
Isn't his district just about 50/50?

3. By Washington standards, he has a wierd district. |
He has the most liberal city (Olympia) as well as the site of the Centralia massacre; where the legionnaires who attacked the wobblies are today immortalized in bronze. It may be 50:50 but the bad half is batshit crazy.
