Anyone else cringe when you see our diplomats meeting with thugs like Karzai? |
|
You know damn well when the next Republican administration gets in they won't wait long to dig some of these American "friends" out of some spider hole like they did to Saddam. And the video of our diplomats will be used against us. Pervez Musharraf new what he was doing when he decided to get out of Pakistani politics. He knew what was coming down the pike. He would have made the perfect guy to turn into a bad guy and lynch by the next US Republican administration. He got out while the getting was good. Karzai would be smart to do the same thing if he knew what was good for him. Being a US puppet can be dangerous when we get done with you.

1. Yep. He may be a son-of-a-bitch... |

...but he's our son-of-a-bitch; to be disposed of when his usefulness has ended.

4. No, I would cringe if they weren't meeting with them |

I can think of no American diplomat who has spoken of the corruption in Afghanistan and the need to change it. It is not clear that the Afghan people had better choices.
