Russell Sysack, retired owner of Sysack Sign Company on Pearl Road, died Saturday at the age of 66.

Sysack was known for the controversial, sometimes inflammatory messages that he displayed on a billboard in front of his building.

His sister Nancy says, even if you didn't always agree with all of his work you couldn't help but laugh.

His most popular sign was one about President Obama being elected as the first African American President and it said, now will the blacks behave?
