IT'S TIME - SAYS THIS DFH - January 20, 2010
The time for talk is over. This DFH says: we need to march, and on 1-20-10. The Ombamistas will have been in power for one year with nothing of substance to show for it, except more war, more unemployment, fewer civil rights, and a 3rd Bush term.

Kent State happened on my birthday in 1970 - and for the first time I marched. It's time to rise up and march again. Let's start in cities and towns and neighborhoods - walk out of work at 4 PM - and say it: WE AIN'T GONNA TAKE THIS SHIT ANYMORE. No more "wait and see" - Obama has made it clear he will break his promises over and over.

We need to take to the streets, and stay away from the ballot box. Otherwise, nothing will change. "Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.' We need a second revolution, because we are again oppressed.

I will be marching on January 20th - anyone with me?

2. Not me ...

Sure, I'd march for an end to this stupid, fucking war.

I'd march against the failures of Congress.

I'd march in protest of the failures to address unemployment effectively, of making the stimulus too small, of even considering anti-inflationary measures ... I'd march for a lot of reasons.

But I will not follow nor march with anyone who continues using these infantile titles like "Obamaistas" or has the audacity to claim that Obama's term is Bush's 3rd. That's just stupid, and it doesn't help.

So, count me out of your little march.

I will march to end war, and have done so. You mention other things you believe he hasn't done...may I direct you to http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/ to check on your facts. There are some things of substance that he has done that democrats worked for. I hope for more in the coming years.

I will never stay away from the ballot box!! It is an honor to vote in this country, as well as a responsibility. Women weren't always given the opportunity to speak our minds and I'll be goddamned if I throw that away on one issue.
